Half-day tour of Dubrovnik city walls ( 9:00 - 13:00)

          The English-speaking tour starts at the hotel with a coach transfer to the old walled city of Dubrovnik. The tour continues to the landmark of Dubrovnik – the unique 2-kilometer long city walls and fortresses encircling the city. The splendid views from the walls and towers reach not only the city, but the islands and the Adriatic as well as the surrounding area. Flat, comfortable shoes are a must!

Half-day tour “ Tale of Silk” (09:00 – 13:00)

Silk is one of the oldest textile fibers known to man. During the Roman Empire, it was sold for its weight in gold. Here, in Konavle valley, south of Dubrovnik, women keep tradition of small, non-profitable ancient handcraft of silk production. Silk thread is mostly used for embroidery of beautiful national costumes of Konavle region. Take an opportunity to share an experience of producing a silk thread in most traditional manner. Enjoy the hospitality of the village family and rediscover some of the lost values.

Half-day tour of Ston & Trsteno (09:00 – 13:00)

          The English-speaking tour starts at the hotel. The coach takes us across the Dubrovnik bridge (spectacular view to the region) to the small town of Ston with the second largest fortifications in the world! The tour of Ston also includes the visit to the 15th century salt works which operates still today, collecting the salt from the sea water. On our way back to the hotel, a visit to the 15th century Arboretum in Trsteno, once a summer residence of the local noble family.

FRIDAY, April 10 :

Two possibilities 1. Montenegro (visa required) or 2. Pelješac Wine Tour (visa NOT required)

Full-day tour of the Republic of Montenegro (08:00 – 20:00)

(VISA Required)

          Hardly one-hour drive from Dubrovnik, the Montenegro Littoral provides incomparable natural beauties and an abundance of historical sites. Our drive takes us to the mouth of the Bay of Kotor, through the towns of Risan and Perast to Kotor. We stop here for a city tour to learn some of the compelling history of the area. After Kotor, the drive goes up to the mountains where we have refreshment at the local pub. Our descent from the heights takes us to Cetinje, once a seat of Montenegrin rulers, where we visit their court, today a museum. After Cetinje, a lunch will be served in a local restaurant. On our way back from inland to the coast, we enjoy spectacular views before stopping at Budva for a break. Return drive to Dubrovnik will be shortened by a ferry ride across the bay. Passport or equivalent document is obligatory. (Please, check your visa requirements to Republic of Montenegro).

Full-day tour "PELJEŠAC WINE TOUR" (08:00– 18:30)

          The peninsula of Pelješac boasts a long maritime tradition and winegrowing areas producing excellent red wines. The cultivation of vineyards dates back to 3rd century B.C. when the Greeks settled the island of Korcula. Discover the gentle landscapes of Pelješac and its steep southern coast, its villages with authentic rural architecture and hospitality of its people. Join us for wine tasting in the picturesque village of Potomje where you will be welcomed by a well-known local wine-producer. The tour continues up to the area of Dingac with most impressive vineyards descending the mountain slopes at a high incline towards the sea. Departure to Prizdrina for wine tasting and a typical light lunch at the Bartulovic family house. On our way back we stop at the village of Ponikve for a visit to the Miloš family wine-cellar.
